Blood Cancer Awareness Month
Ironically, a few days after I was diagnosed with blood cancer was the beginning of September. In 2010, it was designated as blood cancer awareness month. 14,000 people are diagnosed every month in the United States with 900,000 people diagnosed yearly worldwide.
Blood cancer is actually a family of 5 distinct groups.
