Working outside on our hobby farm means that we are constantly getting dirty or messy whether it is cleaning out stables, cutting firewood, gardening, doing home repairs, or dreaming up some new projects. So, it is important to have clothes that work as hard as we do. Here are some of our favorites:

Gloves

Leather Work Gloves - We buy packs of these leather work gloves at Costco and SamsClub. They work well for stacking firewood and chores that need great hand protection.

Northern Tool - Ironton High-Dexterity General-Purpose Work Gloves. These gloves are perfect for jobs that need dexterity.

Pants - G.H. Bass These have been a favorite for years. After trying many different brands, these pants are long lasting for outdoor work. When we find them, we usually stock up at Costco or SamsClub. They usually come in tan or gray, although we have found them in blue or green.

Socks - Shoes are only as good as your best socks. These are our favorite socks for working outside or hiking.

GH Bass Hiking Socks are great for cushion and support. We stock up if we see them at SamsClub or Costco.

Omniwool Hiking Socks are a favorite in our house. Again, Sams and Costco are great places to stock up.

Boots - Ever Boots Leather Work Boots. With built in cushion, these boots stand up to long days on your feet.
